GEOG 684 - GIS Applications in Urban and Regional Planning


Description:
Use of GIS software and associated techniques within the planning environment. Investigation of GIS techniques used for decision support systems, scenario planning, 3-D visualization, suitability analysis, geographic growth management, public participation and impact assessment for planners.

Prerequisites:
GEOG 676 , GEOG 679  or cons instr. Recommended: GEOG 588 GEOG 677 .

2 hrs lec, 2 hrs lab.
