ENGL 328 - Modernism Description: Theories and practices of “Modernism” (approx. 1900-1940). Emphasis on literary texts belonging to different genres with discussions including examples from other media (visual arts, music, performance, etc.) in an international context. Formal innovations as well as philosophical, psychological, and sociological preoccupations of several Modernist writers and artists will be covered.
