CLS 425 - Diagnostic Medical Microbiology Description: Study bacterial, mycoplasmal, rickettsial, and chlamydial diseases of humans; identify clinical signs and symptoms of these diseases; explore collection, transportation, modes of transmission, and laboratory methods used to detect and identify the pathogens as well as appropriate antibiotic therapy. 3 hrs lec, 6 hrs lab per wk.
