PSEN 440 - Industrial Thermodynamics

Description:
Thermo-dynamic properties; energy and entropy balances; thermodynamics of energy conversion: steam, vapor power cycles; energy recovery systems; refrigeration: liquefaction. Classical thermodynamics and Maxwell’s relationships; engineering equations of state. Field trips.

Prerequisites:
CHEM 335
