Description:
Introduction to Heinrich Schenker, his analytical methodologies, and his contributions to music theory. Application of Schenkerian techniques to tonal repertoire, as well as an overview of standard musical forms (including binary, ternary, rondo, and sonata form).

Prerequisites:
Both MUS 210  and MUS 212
