MUS 208 - Musicology I


Description:
A survey of twentieth-and twenty-first-century Western art music, including stylistic trends, major developments in composition and performance, and cultural context. Additional emphasis will be placed on global musical styles, both as separate traditions and as an influence on Western music composers.

Prerequisites:
Both MUS 210  and MUS 212 , or Instructor Consent
