THEA 352 - Theatre History from the Renaissance to Romanticism Description: Survey of theatre architecture, design, literature, and theory from 1500 to 1850 in the European and American theatre. Emphasis placed on the interrelationship between theatre and culture, and particularly upon the English Restoration, French Neoclassicism, Romanic melodrama, and the beginning of realism.
