SW 316 - Child Welfare Practice Description: Focus on fundamental skills and knowledge of child welfare practice that includes basic interviewing skills; assessment; case planning; protective services; extended family and foster family care; family centered services; their effects on Native American and other minority cultures; and child welfare policies such as ICWA, ASFA, WI Children’s code.
Prerequisites: Admission into Social Work Major or Instructor Consent
