BIOL 110 - Principles of Biology I


Description:
Fundamental principles of biology, including chemistry of life, cell biology, genetics, and mechanisms of evolution. Principles of cell and molecular biology, from macromolecules to organisms, integrated through an evolutionary framework. Development of scientific skills to form hypotheses, analyze and interpret data, evaluate biological literature, and relate biology to society.

Prerequisites:
Concurrent registration in CHEM 105  or CHEM 117  strongly advised
