MUS 383 - Applied Music III - Jazz Description: Individual instruction for music majors. Normally taken for 2 credits; 4 credits lessons available by audition or with permission of applied instructor and department chair. After acceptance to jazz studies program, jazz studies majors fulfill the large ensemble requirement with MUS 345 . May be repeated for credit.
Prerequisites: Two semesters of 200-level study on your major applied instrument (choose from: MUS 260 , MUS 261 , MUS 262 , MUS 263 , MUS 264 , MUS 265 , MUS 266 , MUS 267 , MUS 268 , MUS 269 , MUS 270 , MUS 271 , MUS 272 , MUS 273 , MUS 274 , MUS 275 , MUS 276 , MUS 277 , MUS 278 , MUS 281 ); Department Consent, and concurrent enrollment in MUS 341 , MUS 342 , or MUS 343 required.
