UWX EN278 - Multicultural Literature in the United States Description: Study of literature written by, and expressing the perspectives of, writers from minority groups in the United States. Includes readings by contemporary writers focusing on the experiences of African, Asian, Hispanic, and Native Americans through their essays, poetry, fiction, and drama. As an interdisciplinary course, the literature is read in the context of American history and culture. May not earn credit in both UWX EN278 and ENGL 284 .
Prerequisites: Either UWX EN101 or ENGL 101 , or Instructor Consent
