The Physical Education Major satisfies the Interdisciplinary Studies GEP requirement. For more information, see the GEP section of the Catalog.
Consists of 74-86 credits.
Take three credits of the following literature courses:
State teacher licensing rules may change at any time due to legislative or licensing changes.
Physical Education Majors are required to follow the General Education Program requirements outlined in the Secondary/K-12 Education Curriculum for Teacher Certification .
You may NOT take courses pass/fail that lead to completion of the physical education, coaching, health education, or adapted physical education certification programs.
You must demonstrate knowledge of your content area in order to be licensed.
