Music Performance: Voice, B.M.

This major is administered by the Department of Music .

 

Admitted by audition only. Your performance proficiency will be reviewed at the end of your freshman year for permission to continue. In your first semester, with your applied teacher’s approval, you may audition to enter the performance degree program in the second semester of the freshman year. You must complete MUS 246  or Level 100 of applied piano and complete the 400 level of study in voice. You must perform a half recital in your junior year in voice and give a senior recital. The senior recital (MUS 462 ) satisfies the Capstone Experience requirement.

Take MUS 379  to satisfy 2 credits toward the Communication in the Major requirement.
