Communication Minor

This minor is administered by the Division of Communication .

If you are interested in declaring a communication minor, you must meet with a division representative. Contact the Communication office to make an appointment.

Consists of a minimum of 18 credits:

Required

COMM 200 - Communication Theory 3 cr.

Any one of

COMM 160 - Introduction to the Art of Film 3 cr.
COMM 190 - History of Media 3 cr.
COMM 230 - Introduction to Public Relations 3 cr.
COMM 240 - Introduction to Organizational Communication 3 cr.
COMM 280 - Introduction to Interpersonal Communication 3 cr.

Electives

12 credits of communication courses, at least 9 must be 300 level or above.

Note

COMM 101 may not be used to complete the minor.
