This major is administered by the Department of Music .
Consists of 78-80 credits.
Admitted by audition only. Nonpiano majors must complete MUS 147 or Level 100 in piano. Woodwind majors must demonstrate proficiency on two secondary instruments equivalent to MUS 167 , MUS 169 and/or MUS 171 . All majors must present a junior half recital and a senior recital. The senior recital (MUS 498 ), taken in conjunction with 400-level applied lessons, satisfies the Capstone Experience requirement.
