The Community and Organizational Leadership (COL) Graduate Certificate is open to graduate students (except COL MS students) interested in leading positive change in community. The COL Graduate Certificate is offered 100% online and builds skills in collaborative leadership and management, evidence-based program planning and evaluation, and effective grant writing.

This certificate is administered by the School of Health Promotion and Human Development - Graduate Programs .

Consists of 15 credits.

Required, 15 credits

The COL Graduate Certificate is awarded upon completion of the following required 15 credits with a minimum 3.0 GPA:

COL 700 - Collaborative Leadership in Community Development 3 cr.
COL 710 - Organization and Program Management 3 cr.
COL 720 - Outcome Based Program Evaluation 3 cr.
COL 730 - Best Practices in Program Development 3 cr.
COL 740 - Grants and Funding for Small Projects 3 cr.
