Health Science Education Graduate Certificate

The Health Science Education Graduate Certificate is awarded upon successful completion of a series of courses that center on competence and proficiency in teaching health science courses at the middle or high school level. The certificate demonstartes expertise is health science topics and curricular foundations and prepares you to educate middle and high school students in the health science career cluster and related pathways.

This 13 credit certificate is administered by the Health Promotion and Human Development - Graduate Programs .

FCS 594 - Principles of Career and Technical Education 2 cr.
FCS 596 - Cooperative Occupational Education Programs 1 cr. and
HD 597 - Field Work 1-12 cr.
HS 295 - Medical Terminology 3 cr.
PHIL 502 - Ethics and Medicine 3 cr.
