The Jazz Pedagogy Graduate Certificate is open to students majoring in a graduate music degree.

This certificate is administered by the Department of School of Performing Arts Music Graduate Program .

Consists of 12 credits.

MUED 627 - Workshop in Jazz Pedagogy 3 cr.
MUS 505 - Jazz History for Musicians 3 cr.
MUS 544 - Large Ensemble: Vocal Jazz 1-2 cr.
MUS 545 - Jazz Ensemble 1 or 2 cr.
MUS 592 - Analytical History of Jazz Improvisation 2 cr.
MUS 615 - Contemporary Music Theory for Music Teachers 3 cr.
MUS 690 - Contemporary Vocal Pedagogies 3 cr.
