This minor is administered by the Department of History and International Studies .
Definition: Environmental Studies is a multidisciplinary approach to studying the relationships between people and their environments. The minor is one of the oldest Environmental Studies programs in the nation. You begin with foundational courses in environmental justice, environmental ethics, and sustainability, and then complete additional coursework in each of these areas.
Consists of 21 credits:

Environmental Studies Foundation: Justice, Ethics, Sustainability, 9 credits
Justice: Choose one of the following courses, 3 credits
Ethics: Choose one of the following courses, 3 credits
Sustainability: Choose one of the following courses, 3 credits
Environmental Studies Electives, 3 credits
Choose any course from the above list not already taken, 3 cr.
