This major is administered by the Department of Psychology .

Program Learning Outcomes
  1. You should have a working knowledge of psychology’s content domains
  2. You should be able to describe the key concepts, principles, and overarching themes in psychology
  3. You should be able to describe applications of psychology
  4. You should be able to use scientific reasoning to interpret psychological phenomena
  5. You should be able to demonstrate effective writing for different purposes
  6. You should be able to exhibit effective presentation skills for different purposes
  7. You should be able to recognize and locate credible sources, read and summarize research, evaluate the quality and limitations of research studies, and interpret stats and graphs


Consists of a minimum of 37 credits.

Note: Required courses marked ** below have Math prerequisites. Depending on your placement score, additional courses may be required.
