This major is administered by the area of Health Sciences and Wellness  in the School of Health Sciences and Wellness .

Program Learning Outcomes

As a graduate of the Health Science and Wellness Program, you will gain the following competencies:

  1. Enhance self-knowledge and ability to empower others, work collaboratively, and facilitate positive social change.                                                                
  2. Integrate skills to align communication strategies with individuals’ unique perspectives, contexts, and values.                                                      
  3. Build skills to thrive during challenges and adversity.                                                      
  4. Develop skills to define an issue, critically consider available evidence, appropriately apply and analyze evidence, and effectively disseminate.  


Consists of a minimum of 71 credits.
