This minor is administered by the area of Health Sciences and Wellness in the School of Health Sciences and Wellness .
The exercise performance minor is designed for students who are interested in applying scientific knowledge to design, implement and train individuals with the goals of improving health, fitness and/or performance. Students will gain expertise in leading exercise assessments, creating workouts and coaching proper exercise techniques to provide effective strength and conditioning programs. The exercise performance minor will provide you with a distinct education to pursue industry leading certifications and careers in settings such as colleges, high schools, professional sport teams, sports medicine clinics, and fitness facilities.
Consists of a minimum of 36 credits.
