Program Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of CLS program, you will be proficient in the following entry level learning outcomes:
- Achieve scores of 60% or greater on the Pre-Clinical Competency Examination
- Complete a minimum of 800 hours of supervised clinical practicum with scores of 70% or higher on the final evaluation forms in each discipline, prior to graduation
- Achieve a grade of a C or better in your Capstone course, CLS 499 Advanced Clinical Studies
- Achieve scores at 70% or greater on the Comprehensive Examination administered at the end of the Clinical Practicum
- Achieve scores at levels equal or greater than the national average on the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) National Board of Certification (BOC) Examination
Includes the academic program (98-103 on-campus credits) and the clinical practicum (24 off-campus credits).
