Program Learning Outcomes
Upon completing a Physics degree from UWSP, you will be able to:
- Integrate critical thinking, mathematical skills, and principles of theoretical and applied physics to explain and solve problems related to physical processes
- Investigate a physics problem by conducting an experiment, collecting data, analyzing results, determining uncertainties, and drawing justifiable conclusions
- Communicate effectively within the profession through clear writing and oral presentation
Consists of a minimum of 62 credits (57 credits if taking CHEM 117 ).
Note: Required courses marked ** below have Math prerequisites. Depending on your placement score, additional courses may be required.
