This major is administered by the area of Business in the Sentry School of Business and Economics .
In the management major, you complete courses in core content from accounting, business, and economics, as well as courses specifically related to management. Upon completing the management major, you will be prepared to lead in the business world.
Program Learning Outcomes
Evidence of Management graduates’ level of preparation will be found in your ability to:
- Analyze and solve Business and Economics problems:
- you will be able to apply core concepts, models, and methods from business, accounting, and economics in identifying and solving problems
- Demonstrate the intercultural competencies necessary to thrive in an increasingly global marketplace:

- Absorb concepts in areas of core business knowledge:

Successfully complete a minimum of 69 credits in the Core and Management requirements as described below.

Core
In general, try to complete the core classes in approximately this sequence. The courses near the beginning of the list serve as prerequisites for courses near the end of the list.

Successfully complete 24 credits of Management requirements in addition to the Core.
Required Management courses, 9 credits
Focused Management electives, 9 credits
Choose three courses from the list below:
General Electives, 6 credits
Successfully complete an additional 6 credits in Sentry School, 200-level or above, not including ACCT 497 , ACCT 498 , BUS 320 , BUS 496 , BUS 497 , BUS 498 , ECON 200 , ECON 497 , or ECON 498 . Courses taken to satisfy other requirements for the major do not count towards this requirement.
