Multidisciplinary Major: Technology Management Option, BA

This major is administered by the Multidisciplinary Department in the School of Humanities and Global Studies within the COLLEGE OF LETTERS AND SCIENCE .
The multidisciplinary major is designed as a degree-completion program that permits transfer students with varied backgrounds the opportunity to choose among options to complete a bachelor’s degree. You must enroll in your multidisciplinary option within the first two semesters of your transfer to UWSP.
For the multidisciplinary major, you must:
- Have a minimum transfer grade point average of 2.25 to enter the program. (Exceptions may be approved by the School of Humanities and Global Studies.)
- Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.50 in all program courses taken.
- Meet the requirements for the degree type (i.e., B.S. or B.A.) you choose. You will graduate with your chosen option in the School of Humanities and Global Studies within the College of Letters and Science.
Consists of a minimum of 43 credits.
Note: Required courses marked ** below have Math prerequisites. Depending on your placement score, additional courses may be required.

Multidisciplinary Major Core, 12 credits
Communication Skills - Choose 12 credits from the following:
Technology Management Option
Science and Engineering Skills, 16 credits
Management Skills, 15 credits
World Language Courses, 0-8 credits
Complete a two-semester sequence of university entry-level world language courses (101, 102). The requirement may be fulfilled through equivalent coursework or other language acquisition as demonstrated through a test-out policy (including Native American languages and American Sign Language). If your native language is not English and you can document formal high school or university study of your native language, you may use ENGL 101 and ENGL 202 , or ENGL 150 as a means of fulfilling this world language requirement.
