This major is administered by the Forestry Discipline.

NOTE: Enrollment cap is in effect for this option. Consult the forestry coordinator for advising information and application criteria.

Consists of a minimum of 104 credits.

Note: Depending on your math placement score, additional courses may be required. The following required courses below hav Math prerequisites: FOR 321, FOR 322, ECON 110, MATH 111, CHEM 101, CHEM 105, and CHEM 106.

L-280 Followership to Leadership

Completion requirement

Complete a chainsaw certification that can include:

  • S-212 Wildland Fire Chainsaws

  • Other saw certification or combination of chainsaw trainings equivalent to 30 hours of instruction
