Definition: The Soil and Waste Resources program provides comprehensive training in the inventory, scientific principles, and management of soil and waste resources. Graduates qualify for potential career opportunities in the fields of soil conservation, soil mapping and classification, nutrient management in agriculture, wastewater treatment, solid and hazardous waste management, recycling, septic systems, and wetlands.
