Physics: Applied Electronics Option, BS


This major is administered by the Department of Physics and Astronomy .

Program Learning Outcomes

Upon completing a Physics degree from UWSP, you will be able to: 

  1. Integrate critical thinking, mathematical skills, and principles of theoretical and applied physics to explain and solve problems related to physical processes
  2. Investigate a physics problem by conducting an experiment, collecting data, analyzing results, determining uncertainties, and drawing justifiable conclusions
  3. Communicate effectively within the profession through clear writing and oral presentation


Consists of a minimum of 64 credits.

Note: Required courses marked ** below have Math prerequisites. Depending on your placement score, additional courses may be required.

Internship, 6 credits
