This program is administered by the area of Education in the School of Education Office of Graduate Studies & Professional Development.
This graduate certificate prepares professionals to apply the principles of trauma and resilience in both their work and personal environments. Concepts of the neurobiology of trauma, facilitation of trauma sensitive, resilient, and restorative communities, and strategies for self-care are explored. This program includes core multidisciplinary courses and two additional courses in education or sociology. You will choose the discipline of the additional courses. You will have a culminating applied research project in a capstone course. All courses could apply towards a Master’s in Education degree at UW-Stevens Point.
The certificate is a total of 15 credits.
