This minor is administered by the area of Health Sciences and Wellness in the School of Health Sciences and Wellness .
The Community Health Minor provides coursework that meets the standards required for graduates to qualify for the Community Health Education Specialist (CHES®) credential examination. You will gain experience in Assessment of needs and Capacity; Planning; Implementation; Evaluation and Research; Advocacy; Communication; Leadership and Management; and Ethics and Professionalism.
The Community Health Minor will provide you with a distinct education to pursue industry leading certification and careers in settings such as public health agencies, hospital community health, employee wellness centers, and health advocacy organizations.
Consists of a minimum of 30 credits.
